Even
when the odds are overwhelming and seem
impossible, she just takes control and says,
"No! You will not get the best of me, I
WILL WIN! Wow! How amazing is that? Even when
faced with the fight of her life with Breast
Cancer, she still remains positive and has
become such an incredible role model for women
across America who have just recently realized, they
too, are fighting that same battle. Women
contact her and ask how she can remain so
positive, how she can look this disease in the
face and Say, "Back Off Buddy, It's Not My
Time Yet!" Almost daily, when I
speak to this incredibly, beautiful woman, I am
challenged, to look beyond my problems, look at
the positive, and focus on the good, not the
bad. So often we can get so caught up, in our
own problems and feel sorry for ourselves,
that we don't stop and smell the roses, and see
the beauty around us. Billye has inspired me, by
teaching me, that beauty can always be found in
something that is unfortunate, we just have to
look for it, and once we have found it, to never
let go. I am proud to be her Director and her
friend and I cherish every moment, that I can
learn from this beautiful woman.
